This was supposed to have been uploaded when Wave 3 of the #MarioKart8Deluxe Booster Course Pass, but adding the details to the helmet #Mario has on was pretty time-consuming...! Having him and Airashi in #Sonic costumes was also in honor of #SonicFrontiers

@NintendoAmerica While the new stadium and Bowser Jr. are pretty cool, I just wish this wasn’t the final content update. Would’ve preferred these guys over Birdo honestly, would’ve been a great throwback to the first game:

Here’s another version without the special effects. Debating on if I should still complete the entire drawing, since we’re like a day away from November now... But if y’all are still up for it, consider this another preview (that looks good enough to be its own drawing).

So that beach picture I was talking about a while ago has been delayed, since I wound up not liking the perspective (a lot of the characters in the background looked too far back, so I’ll have to redraw them). I did at least color in Airashi; but then I got carried away...

@adrianant0320 Not at all; before the events of the story, like Mario, he is completely unaware of the other’s existence. He certainly wouldn’t hate Airashi; she had a counterpart in Dario’s dimension as well, named Kagura. But because she was murdered, it led Dario down a dark path.

I’ve said before that Dario is Mario’s dimensional counterpart, but there’s actually quite a lot I haven’t said about what his dimension is like or his relationships with the other characters Mario knows in his world. Who wants to take a guess at how they’re different?
