Some #characterdesign exercise with this week's #PortraitChallenge!
Here's my ink drawing and digital colours inspired by a fragment of a mug or bottle found by Woolwich Ferry, made in Woolwich between 1640-1650, original artist/s unknown @StudioTeaBreak
My late participation to yesterday's #PortraitChallenge : Saint Margaret of Antioch, inspired by an unknown French sculptor around 1475. I'm not used to doing this kind of fantasy-like drawings. That was a tough and fun one. @StudioTeaBreak
Took some time today to do last week's #PortraitChallenge with ink and watercolour @StudioTeaBreak ‘My Eldest Daughter, Suzanne’, painted in 1904 by Carl Larsson
Coming back from holidays. Long train rides through France and Germany with my #sketchbook.
Saturday evening Glühwein stands.
Lights and decoration created a nice atmosphere in the dark winter evening. I'm not quite happy with my attempt at capturing it with ink.
And took a bit more time today to do this view of the Fernsehturm
#Berlin #sketchbook
Often I find that digital colouring burns my eyes. As I first think that I'm done with a drawing I don't realize how dull my colours actually turned. Only after sharing my picture I see mud and greys.
Here's my 2nd attempt to correct that. #PortraitChallenge @StudioTeaBreak
Rosa Bonheur, ink drawing and digital colors, after Anna Klumpke's painting for @StudioTeaBreak 's #PortraitChallenge
