STS-8 was the third Challenger mission. Astronaut Guion Bluford became the first African American in space on STS-8 as mission specialist. It was the first time in the shuttle program a launched and landed at night. I’m illustrating every STS mission.

For the Moon I’m showing my location drawing of the Lunar Module LM-2. This LM-2 module was built for Earth orbit flight and utilized for testing before the first Apollo Mission lunar landing.

Drawing of the Sikorsky JRS-1 at Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. The JRS-1 was a great airplane that could do it all. It’s an amphibious aircraft, which means it can operate on water and land.
