Which got me thinking. If you took bits and pieces of your various crushes and pieced them together...would that be transformative enough to count it as a "new" person? Even when it's glaringly obvious who it's based around?

Jumping off his suggestion all those years ago ("make things people like"), I suggested a Z title.

Not posting this because of the show. Posting because of the name of the pose makes me laugh.

It was a visually cool thing. It looked like the ice was floating out into nothing. The sky and ocean were one. I've wanted to use that in a cartoon. I don't know what exactly.

I got *kinda* decent because of it. I should aim for 2025. Then it'll be the 20th anniversary of the idea. So much for "don't be like the Romeo guy and take 4+ years to make it!"

I'd study anything that was super jerky/stylized and things with heavy shading. Any free time I'd try to cram as much into my head as possible. I look at this old footage and it's like, "Shading is wrong. Background is too blank. Animation drawings are in the wrong place."

Shit. Makes me want to finish up that anime I wanted to do all those centuries ago. I started roughly 10 years ago and stopped because I wasn't good enough at animating at the time. Animating on paper was a headache then too.
