One of my New Years resolutions is to do more landscape studies, as I have a pathological hatred of painting landscape art, and I think it’s finally time to face this fear!

@ScavengerEthic Thank you! To be honest, drawing them helps me think about them as fleshed out people, it helps me focus on their traits and personalities and motivations! I scribble notes all over the pictures so it ends up looking a bit chaotic sometimes haha
I guess the fun thing about being an illustrator as well as a writer is I can create character art! It actually helps me visualise them better, as well as working out personalities. These are characters for a work in progress!

An update on my progress, definitely still figuring out my own twist on this but I’m enjoying learning something new as an exercise
