Constraints Series

One more session today with this series and for now I say that it is done.

First time I have used these two colours together. I am pretty happy with them.

I have several larger pieces from this series that I will post later.

Which one is your fav ?

Just about every day, I go out into our garden and take pics of things that capture my eye.
I have been trying to abstract the garden, expressing my love of the shapes, colours and lines that live there.
After much work, I think this painting is done.

Close your Eyes and Feel the Magic

Imagine you are standing in the autumn forest and the leaves are dancing in the sky above you.

What a grand dance ! Lively and playful.

WHAT DO I LIKE ABOUT THIS ?

I like to experiment on watercolour paper to explore new ideas. I like:

☞ Difference between thin lines and thick ones

☞Colour palette

☞Rhythm and energy

☞ The orange shape , adds interest

Ideas to tuck into my mind for other paintings.

FEELING THE WIND ?
My painting from yesterday was just getting too busy and realistic.
I went back in with a bigger brush with the intention to paint the shapes, colours, feel and dynamic textures of autumn .
Much happier 🤜🤛
