Artists I am now unquestionably a fan of:
@LucianoVecchio
@PlinaGanucheau
@joannaestep
Is it just me, or was Marvel's Pride book too mutant-heavy? Reading it, one gets the impression that the Marvel Universe's LGBTQ heroes are almost all mutants; The Runaways' Karolina and Nico and the Black Cat were the only non-mutant LGBTQA heroes featured.
Grown-ups who enjoy THE LEGEND OF AUNTIE PO should check out Shing Yin Khor's earlier THE AMERICAN DREAM?, a fun travel comic about driving Route 66.
Finally, @Wheeler and @LucianoVecchio's Aqualad-at-Pride story allows has great superhero art, and allows the creators to get in just about everyone that didn't have their own story (That's a great Tasmanian Devil, and I like this Extrano better than the earlier one).
I appreciate the work that Steve Orlando has done in turning INVASION/THE NEW GUARDIANS character Extrano (left) from an embarrassing one into a decent one, but at this point I think he's gotten a little too close to Dr. Strange cosplay territory (right).
There's a neat page where we get to see a whole bunch of other Batman or adjacent characters who are gay or bi, and I can't place the one in armor. Is that new character Ghostmaker? (He looks vaguely duck-like, but I think I'm reading his chin as a bill.)

(Warning: It's a loooong post)
See, this is why I trade-wait almost everything now. How in God's name am I suppose to choose between @DocShaner gorgeous cover of every Super ever (look at Krypto's smile!) and life-long favorite artist @kevineastman86 drawing the grittiest Superman image I've ever seen....?
