I used to think the battle droids from the prequel trilogy were pretty lame, but they've really grown on me over the decades. Here's a good example of one being awesome, from STAR WARS ADVENTURES: THE CLONE WARS—BATTLE TALES by @MichaelMoreci and @derek_charm:
Check out @MISTERHIPP's variant cover for CRUSH & LOBO #1. I would love to read a whole Lobo comic in that style...
Join me at EDILW as I try to guess the future of this trend:

WONDER WOMAN: BLACK AND GOLD has a kinda weird color scheme, and its covers make it look more like black and white and gold, but any excuse for Ramona Fradon Wonder Woman art is A-OK with me.
Serious question: Does @DCComics have any trans heroes yet? If not, someone should make one.
Okay, what did I miss? Cassandra Cain appears in four panels of the BATMAN Vol. 2: THE JOKER WAR. In the first one, she's labeled as "Orphan" and is wearing her Orphan costume.
The other three panels have her in her Batgirl costume (and Spoiler ALSO has a bat-symbol).
