A snapshot of bird paintings from this last year, it was a busy one! Taking a break now and wishing everyone an enjoyable Festive Season.
Worked a little more on this today. Still not “done” though …..acrylic and watercolour ink on 56x76 cm watercolour sheet.
Edgeland trees, sandwiched between a Roman site and a railway track.
It’s been a sketchbooking kind of Friday. Also listened to turnstones turning stones on the shore earlier, cliik click clickety click. #sketchbook #watercolour
First paint thrown in the new studio. Getting back to work gradually by working big and loose. Acrylic ink and soft pastel on 57x77cm watercolour sheet. Just marks and shapes of a watery landscape I carry in my mind.
A customer has decided to buy a larger painting so this one is available again from the Castle Gallery here- https://t.co/EKiVlb7GP1 “Looking North East, Obinan” (I got the title muddled on the gallery list, also it’s Obinan on this old map but Opinan on new ones)
Exhibition ends tomorrow, not many left to choose from! Fulmar sold today… see the Castle Gallery website for a view of what’s available https://t.co/5QsGYCBYZo
