I can also do more conceptual, experimental, or fantastical portraits as commissions for your personal collection, institutional collections, or publication. For these more elaborate pieces, I might meet with you to shoot photos, or coach you through shooting the right reference.
Did you know that I also do traditional commissioned portrait painting in watercolor? My personal work can be quite spooky, yes, but I am also delighted to paint your pet, family, house, etc in a non-spooky manner! Usually I work from your provided personal photos.
Some of the 5” x 7” watercolor skull studies I’ve been working on for Darksome Virtual Market- they will be part of my shop update on July 17.
