Secondly, he was the player who began singing the national anthem in response to the haka - joined soon by team and crowd. It is believed to be the first time an anthem was sung at a sporting event. The NZ captain said he had never been more impressed in his life.

He is famous for several things in the epic 1905 win over New Zealand. First, of course, he claimed the only score of the game, after a fantastic team move, it was Morgan who got the decisive try.
