🧵I am far from perfect, but each and every day I strive to be a better version of myself than I was the day before. This is my creative journey of personal evolution and I am grateful to share it with all of you - the good, the bad, the smiles, tears & doubts. All of it.

🧵is still very strongly linked to my heart, my character and NOT so insignificant details via which I have always instinctively chosen to express myself. Creativity truly does take courage.

🧵I always lacked confidence emotionally and as an individual (not a business) and have spent a lifetime feeling insecure in that respect... which is precisely what this journey is teaching me.

🧵Sure, 20+ yrs of skillset will never be forgotten - nor my passion for design disregarded - it's influence will forever be present in my art, but whilst I thrived as a confident business woman in that field and was always ready to take anything on...

🧵This creative journey has been all encompassing over the last five years, almost two of which have been spent in this space. I have learnt and grown so much creatively and personally. Lessons I doubt I would have been exposed to had I stayed in the corporate world of design.

🧵My abandon of massively structured or accurate form became a lot more obvious than it was in any of my earlier work - but to my eye... my signature fundamentals are still very much present in all of those pieces.

🧵If my mom was not out in nature, she was painting it. This collection allowed me to break the door of creative restriction. I let go of all the rules & drew what uplifted my spirit. I needed the strength of optimism at the time & this collection is gave it to me.
