🧵It was also a collection which I believe spoke very loudly & deeply to many individuals. Each portrait created with very strong emotional intent and a clear, aligning message/quote - an aspect of self which is still prevalent & applicable in ALL my pieces today.

🧵but even looking that far back I can see the thread of my creative character which remains in my pieces still - with my bold palette choices, passion for geometrics in design, my enjoyment of imperfection in line & shape, as well as my love for the beauty of artistic chaos.

🧵Now, I know everyone is going to tell me it has nothing to do with me & everything to do with the current market - but I will put my head on a block that I am not the only artist floating around this space with this thought process & it will destroy you from the inside out.

🧵Something which has played heavily on my mind is whether or not my development & transformation as an artist is what has crippled my sales in this space of late...

🧵Lately, I have been riddled with self doubt & internal questioning about my art. It happens sometimes & crazy really... just how quickly this kind of thought process can spiral out of control, leaving one feeling almost paralyzed by self loathing & a lack of will to continue.
