Anyone remember in Gts that Philippe/the French gov had cartridges containing a chemical agent that attacks on a cellular level, puncturing the cell walls and turning the cytoplasm to powder… pretty much dusted #kaiju on contact?

@din_anastasia Well, the GTS Godzilla is quite large in comparison

@inklinghole I think it’s a bit closer than you imply. The GTS Godzilla has the size advantage (weighing 2x as much as GMK), the speed advantage, is quite durable, has a healing factor, plenty of combat experience, and is incredibly cunning in the use of his abilities (such as burrowing).

@KingRexy328 The first idea of having the atomic breath come from a special, visible structure seems to be the 1998 concept art. I think shin also has a unique structure, and the idea is pretty cool/makes sense

There are of course other ways to engender audience sympathy, like design. Characters that look more human/beautiful or have soft/round shapes are generally more sympathetic than inhuman angular creatures.

Was reminded of @jaros428 ‘s incredible Godzilla 1998 reimagining from a couple years ago. It took more inspiration from marine iguanas than the 98 design and ended up looking slightly more like classic G designs. As amazing as it is tho, I gotta say I still prefer the 98 design
