Finished Reading: One True Loves by Elise Bryant. Elise Bryant is one of the best rom-com writers of our time and this European adventure does not disappoint. Featuring: Black excellence, art, parents with high expectations, sibling rivalry, and a VERY together male lead.

Finished reading Ms. Marvel, Vol 4: Last Days. Who do you protect at the end of the world? Who do you invite into your community when everything is falling apart? taught me that we protect everyone. We protect our family, our friends, strangers and stray kittens.

If you want a murder mystery with some fantasy elements - consider Elatsoe by Darcie Little Badger. When her cousin's spirit visits her to tell her about his murder a ghost summoner goes to a small town to find evidence and catch the killer. https://t.co/I0wSXbawL9

Finished Reading: The Empress of Salt and Fortune by Nghi Vo. A young historian meets a woman who used to serve the now deceased Empress and seeks to record her story. This is the kind of book that makes you want to talk to your elders.

Finished reading Loveless by Alice Oseman. Georgia has never had a crush, but the fanfic/romcom-lover always assumed romance would find her one day, but in her first semester of uni she begins to suspect that it won't. Beautiful story of self-acceptance with a aro/ace protaganist

Finished reading Spider-Gwen, Vol. 0: Most Wanted? by Jason Latour & Robbi Rodriguez. If you liked Into the Spiderverse, this is a great place to start and get to know Gwen a little bit better.

Finished Reading: In Deeper Waters by F.T. Lukens. It's a gay little mermaid re-telling, with splashes of treason and piracy thrown in for fun. It's a fantasy/romance that I found underwhelming at times. It is every bit as cute and soft as the cover suggests, but underdeveloped.

Finished Reading: Elatsoe by Darcie Little Badger. Do you like murder mysteries? Indigenous literature? Ghost stories? Ace representation? Fantasy books in contemporary settings? Then this is the book for you! Beautifully written with plenty of suspense.

Finished Reading: Fence, Vol. 3 by C.S. Pacat, Johanna the Mad, Joana LaFuente, and Jim Campbell. I think stories about queer people playing obscure sports might be my favorite genre & this is an excellent addition to that genre where we see a true rivalry develop.

Finished Reading: Fence, Vol. 2 by C.S. Pacat - it's a tryout tournament as everyone competes to be on this elite fencing team and prove themselves in the world of competitive fencing. The high-stakes fight sequences are balanced with humor
