Finished Reading: Love & Other Natural Disasters by Misa Sugiura. This is a book about complex love - love that makes demands of you and how you can fail the people you love. It also involves lesbians in a fake dating trope, which as we all know I love.

Finished Reading: White Sand vol. 3 by Brandon Sanderson, Rik Hoskin, and Fritz Casas. There is a new artist and the new style looks good. The panel layout is much better. But for some reason all of the Black characters got lighter.
Finished reading Lumberjanes, Volume 17: Smitten in the Stars. The Lumberjane scouts go to see an amazing astronomical event. But their night of star-gazing is thrown off course when a Norse Goddess crashes the party.
Finished Reading Hollowpox: The Hunt for Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend. This felt eerily relevant for a book that was written before 2020. There is a virus that only impacts a portion of the community, and as an Asian American living during covid it felt too real.

I can not believe Butch Hartman - an industry professional - charged money for a picture that he traced while I'm just out here making fan art for free because I'm a nerd https://t.co/ODXQPfElq8
Finished Reading: Each of Us a Desert by Mark Oshiro. This is a queer latinx dystopia. Despite the magical realism, violent outlaws, and travel - the main conflict is a girl's sense of responsibility to her community vs. her feeling of being trapped in a life chosen for her
