The Crimson Witch set herself on fire for falling in love with an unattainable Archon who passed away in the cataclysm.

The love, longing, and fragility in her maiden heart burnt away...

✨Teucer will kill Childe
In Greek mythos, Teucer was an archer who fought with his half-brother Ajax (Tartaglia's birth name).

Ajax commits suicide to keep his heroic status and avoi shame to his family. Teucer later was disowned for not bringing Ajax' body or weapons back.

✨ Hu family has Adeptal blood
(Disclaimer: Very speculative)
Hu Tao is shown to have a closer relationship to Xiao than most, unsurprising since Wangsheng deals with rites for gods and adepti. Like other adepti, she has prominent tinted hair.

✨ Rite of Homa
In the Staff of Homa's lore, we learn that evil miasma from fallen gods would corrupt citizens.

It was likely the original founders of Wangsheng who pioneered a ritual to burn & purify corpses, reducing them to ashen butterflies, helping Liyue's karmic evils.

✨ Khaenri'ah attacked first
What did the pride of humanity actually do to warrant their destruction? Was Celestia just threatened because they were godless & flourishing, or did they perhaps instigate an attack against the gods first?

What is "the arrogation of mankind"?

✨ Sea of Flowers at the End
In the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview, there is a sea of flowers at the beginning and end of the video, we will likely encounter these flowers in the future. These flowers are similar to the ones that Lumine has, as well as Genesis Crystal packs.

✨ Celestia is Prison
When Vennessa ascends to 'Celestia', it resembles a Panopticon: a structure where a guard stationed within a central tower observes prisoners at all times, prisoners never knowing if they're watched or not. Venti also seems distraught at Celestia's mention.

✨ Kaeya Prince of Khaenri'ah
Kaeya's surname, Alberich, is a "ruler of supernatural beings" in Old Norse and German mythology.
His constellation Pavo Occulus is a peacock, an omen of nobility. His c1 Excellent Blood can imply noble descent.
