My entry for this year’s Book Illustration Competition by @foliosociety and @illustrationHQ The brief was to illustrate three love poems by John Donne, Emily Dickinson and Imtiaz Dharker. My watercolours didn’t make the longlist, but they do make decent John- and Femlock art ;)
I’ll be giving away three blue Sherlocks. Let me know until Friday 13th if you’re interested in one. If more than three people would like one, winners will be chosen randomly. https://t.co/wPtcvZDc3m
29th January 2010 / 29th January 2020
“Happy anniversary, boys.”
“Thanks, Mike.”
The book is at the printers now and should be finished in nine to ten working days. Thanks a lot to those who’ve preordered already. There’s also a giveaway which runs until 29th January. Retweet (or reblog on tumblr) and state why you’d like a copy of the book. https://t.co/1z1WIwgLuh

Benedict Cumberbatch, painted with tea, based on the photograph by Spencer Murphy @NPGLondon. It’s an ongoing project: every time I visit this gallery, I buy the postcard of the portrait and create a drawing in a different medium: https://t.co/sBC64FepVY
