My favorite part of the tie in had to be the Flash story, he's been my favorite host for venom, and just seeing him again, along with his role in extreme carnage, This felt like a wonderful passing of the torch.
@Sivara_Comics It's not necessary, but the heart of the Hawk one-shot acts as a prologue that helps with understanding the life of the prior darkhawk if that helps, but this mini series is new reader friendly for the most part
In 5 issues, Peter david got me to care deeply about a character who I liked on the surface, but also got me to understand their struggles and care about their story. It's a wonderful detective story with great twists and turns, just take caution when reading.
@Inspecter797 The main problem is the damn digital inks. His comissions look great and even his interior art in ultimates was good, I just don't know why he continues to add that digital filter
Roberto in War of Realms. Man literally took off a necklace and blew up https://t.co/eKz70IEZ7r
So thought I would talk about the guest era arc: The River Trilogy by Rick Vietch. Originally collected in issues 24-26 of the original mirage series, it's one of the best arcs during that two year period of guest authors (22-26,29-44 and retroactively 16 and 18)
This story picks up after Tales vol 2 issue 5, where leonardo is attacked by a Blind Ninja. During this battle, Leonardo is blinded and seemingly takes an innocent life. In the aftermath, Leonardo questions his life and purpose, for he feels he is now without sight and honor
Last Night, I did a read through of Blind Sight, and it was an emotional story, one of the most powerful stories.
