Saw this Batman panel floating around. It was a good panel, but I decided to ruin it with new dialog.

Meanwhile, on Earth… the centuries of war have left the planet ravaged. Weather patterns and geography shifts. Humanity is unrecognizable and savage. And that’s when Captain America’ icy tomb thaws, and Steve Rogers awakens.

The Russian gamma-soldiers are enabled with Asgardian tech. They overwhelm Latveria and Doom is killed. The Fantastic Four, having been pushing against the new war, are finally convinced to use their tech to aid the US.

Okay, this is the product of late-night coffee/painting miniatures with @reaction_figure. Also, my Marvel knowledge is a 10th equal to my DC, and someone probably already wrote this story. But @thatsbelievable convinced me to post. So...

I actually tried to write that sense of over exposure to violence into Danger Club. You take these kids and place them in a world where life is cheap and violence is a go to... it kills a part of you. At least, I'd say it killed a part of me. I wanted that to be felt in the book.

Have I ever talked about my bias towards Shadowrun? No? Well, @cartoonjones knows the tale – he was around when it happened. It’s a bit of a story, and it involves a murder and my first taste of extreme fans gone wrong.

The Danger Club series is steeped in Greek mythology – and eventually it’s revealed that every super powered being is a distant descendant of the Greek Gods – aliens who came to Earth to escape Chronos last time he was free. 9/13

This is also true of Yoshimi Onomoto – though less so in her case. Because she was one of Danger Club’s more unique characters, we paid her more service in the series, actually visiting her home and learning a bit about the misogynistic culture there. 5/13
