@akirathedon For sure that larger than life presentation that suited the subject matter, looks great on display that way. Like a Galactus shirt would have to be that "full bleed" treatment.
@CelticBrett The Gold Key Doctor Solar is more in the vein of say Johnny Quest, two fisted espionage action with some adventure. I liked the start of the Valiant version but got bored quick. Original Doctor Solar even after getting a costume, kept my interest with it's wonderful oddness.
Recently finishing Kamen Rider, and having read Cutie Honey and Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, these are some great superhero comics, even if they are 50 years old. Heroes versus villains that are actual threats, real stakes, loss, and in the end worth every cent.
Three inkers, two editors, and this unholy abomination still gets by? Man, post-Image Marvel was scrambling to get comics out the door.
