Coming up on two years since I release RUTUNG ADVENTURES. I need to get back to something like that, digest/manga sized, close to 100 pages. B&W art. Have some fun, don't worry too much about color.
King of Spies #4, the last issue of the mini-series is out today by Mark Millar and Matteo Scalera. It's an incredible read and a powerful conclusion to the story, a story of regret, redemption, family, and second chances, all the while being thoroughly satisfying.
I'm sure some members of H.E.A.T. will blame Parallax for Hal's behavior with Arisia.
We didn't have this problem with Kyle Rayner as Green Lantern.
As Batgirl is pissed that no one liked her Princess Leia cosplay she plans on taking Batman down a peg.
"I WONDER WHERE THOSE CONNIVING FEMALES ARE?"
Superman, The Man of Misogyny!
Four great comics by writer-artists that I'd recommend to those that want to get outside the Marvel/DC sphere but aren't keen on Euro comics or Manga.
-Stray Bullets by David Lapham
-Grendel by Matt Wagner
-A Distant Soil by Colleen Doran
-Strangers In Paradise by Terry Moore
The American corporate and indie models of a "ongoing" series that'll be cancelled and rebooted, or the indie series that runs 50-75 issues, seems like the only paths we have currently. Though with that being the case that's why I prefer the Japanese and European models far more.
Was reminded of Jubilee from the first X-Men Legends game, and how the character design favored the Ultimate X-Men comics designs, and I agree, that's better than the puffer jacket/turtle neck/leather pants look of New X-Men/Uncanny X-Men of the time.
