Ultimate Spider-Man #56 has a scene where teenage Gwen Stacy is dropping a deuce, goes to the door without pulling her pants up, and shows off her underwear.
Leave it to an arc titled "HOLLYWOOD" to get creepy.
Comics and wrestling do have a lot of connections, especially Marvel and the WWE. Both don't let new talent get over and stay over, both have independent contractors, not to mention both have issues with trotting out nostalgia acts time after time, after time after time.
I can't help but see the movie "Outcast" as a "What If?" Star Wars story where Anakin never became Vader, just felt guilty, and Obiwan was played by Nicolas Cage.
Rarely take requests but here's SUPER AL!
As @jeremylottdiary requested Weird Al as a superhero.
Marvel comics often like to touch on the 'this is your universe' where it's more real and like our world. If that were the case, then AIM would be getting government contracts building weapons to bomb Genosha, and MODOK would be the Secretary of Defense.
It's #BatmanDay and why not acknowledge Bruce Timm's fascination with Bruce and Babs banging it out.
Atomeka Press' A1 True Life Bikini Confidential #1
A lovely trashy comic with work from Alan Martin, Jamie Hewlett, Steve Moore, Dave Elliot, John Higgins, Brian Bolland, and more.
Cover art by Adam Huges with inset art by Michael T. Gilbert and Garry Leach.
Two films I love that a lot may've never seen, and ones I'd highly recommend are "Predestination" and "A Cure For Wellness". Both in ways are a love stories, however twisted, both have stuck with me since I first saw them. Which is good considering how forgettable films can be.
Months after the attacks Marvel did a series of 'NUFF SAID issues most with no text. Visually driven comics. As concepts go it was good, and quite somber.
