The more serious Luke Cage is treated the worse he is, having him settle down, get married, have a family was a bad call. He is the Hero for Hire, he will collect a bill on Dr. Doom if shorted.
The Genndy Tartakovsky mini-series they shelved for a while did right by Luke Cage. https://t.co/CJ3nawr3CF
Grifting for Candy
One Halloween in the early-mid 90's I went around trick'r treating as Grifter from the Jim Lee comic WILDC.A.T.s in a DIY costume I put together. The mask was made from a cut up old red sweatshirt, Sharpie, and masking tape to hold it together.

Even SLIDERS had a comic book, actually more than one.

200+ pages of entertainment.
Handing Batman over to Japan to make some great comics with him isn't that crazy, and has happened before. Jiro Kuwata told some action packed, wild, and sometimes funny stories with the Caped Crusader.
You can back my latest and my first crowdfunded comic GEMINI JUMP right now! It's a 48 page B&W traditional sized action-adventure comic.

A really good movie and an even better comic.
Bram Stoker's Dracula the film by Francis Ford Coppolla, the comic by Mike Mignola and Roy Thomas.
Perhaps the last great movie to comic adaptation.
Recoloring comics comes down to one thing.
Dull.
Take something that was visually interesting, and appealing, and then either let some jobber colorist or the original art taps into their inner George Lucas and "improves" the art.
