I love "Man of Steel" but I'd have loved a Zack Snyder directed R-rated "Supreme Power" movie even more. If you've never read the comics by J. Michael Straczynski and Gary Frank you really should. Action, intrigue, and people who're godlike dealing with their place in the world.
I still like this panel transition, really fun stuff.

Had this idea of someone who could see people via some paranormal augmented reality, how rotten and nasty they are, and if they were demonic or not(taking joy out of harming others, etc.) I'm sure Natural Born Killers and The Frightners were main inspirations.
