The most interesting thing about Grant Morrison's run on Batman was the future Batman(Damian) issue, #666 which had a eerie/sinister tone, and looked great with Andy Kubert on art.
Covers X-Men & ClanDestine #1 and 2 by Alan Davis
A fun comic that has some great art.
JLA: The Nail from 1998, written and illustrated by Alan Davis, a neat Elseworlds story, one of my favorites that shows how one flat tire on the Kent's truck can change a world.
Cover art by Alan Davis.
@XeroxiszPosts He did work for Marvel after they bought Malibu in 1994, he wrote/illustrated the Conan vs Rune crossover comic, and did covers for Thor in 2001, he was working for Valiant in the mid-90s then later on his massive(yet unfinished) Storyteller series.
@PunchDrunkKing @AldousOnTheFarm @SamuelMunroe Back in 1990 the Days of Future Present story ran wild across 4 annuals. Wasn't amazing, but a good read.
@ComicPerch When Jimmy sees Chloe Sullivan pop up on his phone.
SOMEBODY SAVVVVVVVE ME!
A tragic and horrific tale, "Startling Stories: Banner" the 2001 four issue mini-series by Brian Azzarello & Richard Corben is my favorite Hulk story, and quintessential Hulk.
@PunchDrunkKing I agree with that, if I'm going to recommend any of them, I'd recommend the first two volumes, which DC has that collect the first 26 issues because after that the book loses its way.
I'm torn on my two favorite takes on Black Canary, the Silver Age version, here illustrated by Alex Toth, or the 00's/Birds of Prey look illustrated by Ed Benes. https://t.co/9dvPFSCHq0
