@PunchDrunkKing @aesseguy @ComicPerch Yeah it was one of the few, perhaps the best one was "Crimson Dynamo" but I never read it, they even had their equivalent of DC's Cancelled Comics Cavalcade in the Epic Anthology which collected stories that were to see print but were cancelled.
@LeonardBlathe Soul Saga seemed to be trying ride the coat tails of Joe Madureira's comic Battle Chasers.
Back when you'd get non-shortchanged movie adaptations, the "ALIEN" adaptation by Archie Goodwin and Walt Simonson that Heavy Metal put out in 1979 is a visual delight, some Walt's best work.
I've seen people say that Elon Musk is like Iron Man, but all I can think is what if they're wrong, that he's more like Dr. Doom.
This is classic DC for me. Truly iconic designs(well, maybe not Supergirl's).
DC Promo piece by Jose Luis Garcia Lopez and Dick Giordano
Something didn't look right about the rear sight on the pistol Red Hood is using as it looks like he's using a flip up front sight from a AR-15 rifle for the rear sight on that pistol. But really in the end, it's the nitist of nitpicks. Fabok's art does look great.
While the angel Punisher may be the worst, there could be the contender out there in the form of them giving Frank plastic surgery and a melanin transplant to make him a black man. The 90's weren't really that great for Frank. https://t.co/xBXbEuEZUo
@PunchDrunkKing That's the issue with the Ultraverse and Milestone worlds, even the most popular characters out of there are derivative, and for the most part with both lines I found the stories boring. Though I did end up liking Mantra as it stood out, and often had good art.
So in Batman Earth One Vol.1 Bruce doesn't travel the world to be a badass he just has Alfred train him, and all of Alfred's training can't keep Batman from getting his ass kicked by The Penguin.
