"Floating"
This painting went through a lot of phases, none of which felt right until I 'let rip' with brushes loaded with paint - and then finally the magic happened!

"Heartening"
Looking down into a barrel sponge, naturally forming a heart shape.
With brushes loaded with paint, swirled for those flowing shapes, here's that 'heartening' sponge.

"Straying"
Ah, it's done! I've just finished this painting - a few final touches today
As it developed the purple blues gradually engulfed the orangey reds, which now sing out in contrast.
Acrylic on canvas, 75x100x2 cms

"Shifting"
Acrylic on canvas, 20x20 inches

It's based on the Barrel Sponge from my previous 2 paintings. Drawing shapes I liked with fluid paint , it developed into this!
