8x10" oil on stretched canvas with varnish. This commission was definitely a labor of love and I learned a lot from it. I hope whenever my friend glances at it, it's able to bring a little sunshine into her day 🤗

My friend Chris commissioned me to illustrate his Final Fantasy XIV character and I decided to use a technique that's a bit more casual and lighthearted than my usual oil paint. I used watercolor on heavy weight drawing paper as well as prismacolor pencils.

Just ordered the Epson Expression Premium XP-7100 Wireless Color Inkjet Small-In-One Printer. WOW that was a mouthful.

I just want to show you guys process photos from the commission I'm doing now. It's super messy don't judge! The last pic is only the first layer so I basically know where certain colors for areas will go. The tiny brush comes out when I get back 😈
