Surge and Kit were always going to fail at being rivals because of Sonic and Tails. Not only because they only want to fight S&T because of brainwashing, but S&T don't have any motivations or story lines that go past "beat bad guy", so they have nothing to rival with.
"I HATE SONIC, EGGMAN AND STARLINE! So that's why I'm going to let Eggman and Starline go when I have them in front of me and only focus on Sonic."

@BadBitchBobb I'm not calling either of them yet. Carrot is hesitant about the leadership position abd thinking about Pedro while Yamato continuing to say he wants to join but not directly getting confirmation is odd. I'm fine with both joining, but I'm getting weird vibes from both.
