Here are the two routes FG could use if he goes to Hermopolis. Left is faster, right is slow but frankly stupider. For his own sake, it's better to take the Nile if traveling south, even if gods are watching. I can't imagine FG has enough equipment on him for the long route+

Although I don't think Maat is from Heliopolis. If she's in Thoth's city, Khemenu/Hermopolis, then FG has to travel south to seek her out. We still don't know where Maat's home is at, or if it's on the moon or not, but if FG seeks her & finds her, that could mean many things+
