Important lesson learned: when doing 3D models, actually draw out some fucking refs first, lmfao. So I'll prep for next timee.

Scheduling out my week so I don't get distracted, and today's been marked off as "write or fucking die", with the incentive that I get to jam out this painting tonight once I get two chapters (+ all my rp replies) done.

Practice pays off! 20 minutes, and off to a good start.

Also, still chewing on this. Figured out there's a reason people rough the entire picture from the start values-wise, instead of doing it in rows, but this is what practice is for in the first place. Learning!

15 or 20m on the hair, the remaining time on first draft of painting this hand, and then 20m on the second draft of this hand, once I remembered I have a fucking camera and, you know, I don't have to guess on the shading, I literally have hands I can just photograph.
