thsi is interesting bc here hisoka’s power also represents gon’s inferiority.. like his pure control of situations bc of his power is something that gon does not have (even after this) whether that’s bc of experience or innate skill
i think a lot of gon’s desensitization to death and violence that ppl point out is due to the brutal culture of the hxh universe + the pressure to conform to hunters’ perspectives bc of kite and ging + and his time in the forest rather than him being a “monster”
