As part of a recent commission I was asked to paint a ball room in around the 1930s. The Bal-Musette with became the most popular style of in in the early part of the 20th Century, though went into steep decline in the 1960s.

A scene of 1930's as part of a commission. La still exists today, and looks pretty similar, though I suspect it is not quite as glamorous. Not many tourists dress up these days to go out for the evening.

A preparation visual for a house commission in It's good to see these early 20th century homes with all the original woodwork. Each also features a fine balcony to keep an eye on all the neighbours. Very suburbia!
