Setting up all of the 3D sketches for the surface 'scratches' on the Staff weapon. From this I will use the sketches to create surfaces that I will thicken and then subtract from the handle to create the scratches.

Sometimes you just need to create something even if it looks wrong just so you can just start the process. This is the last geometry to do on the staff weapon and its part of the ribbed grip near the bottom of the staff.

I thought this sweep both sides was going to be easy but its such a pain to get the shape it just took hours of tweaking. It just needs the bowl on the underneath and the finishing on the mid grip and the main geometry done, its just need all the surface markings then.

It taking some time to do this geometry as everytime I do a little and add a bit more I realise something from before needs to be tweaked.

Added more detail to the interior of the head as well as starting to work out how the outer casing will open out.

Made up some of the range finder pieces and then coloured and rendered it. Like I said before a render can made any model look better than it actually is.

Completed the shape of the rear body last night and it looks pretty good now. Like I said before, a render will make any model look better so dont pay attention to the hoses in fresh air, just look at the pretty pixels.

My first attempt at the front curved grip on the gun. I spent a few hours just drawing, redrawning and subdividing the area to get it all the blend properly as when I tried with a single surface it just didnt want to work.

Finished the main cross stiffening and the mounting points for the main outer case of the zorg ZF1. The plan is it just drops on from the top to be glued into position and the two bottom covers come up to mount underneath it. Should be pretty simple in practice.

Working on the stiffening of the outer body parts as well as making a good stiff assembly for everything to mount to.
