The first of my finished birds from this week! The rufous-backed subspecies of the Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher (Ceyx rufidorsa). It's such a vibrant little bird!

Been getting back into using brush pens this week.

"Surrender the blade. You cannot win."

Anatomy practise from yesterday! ✨ I actually drew Keith's entire body but didn't like how it turned out, so selective cropping was my friend. #Voltron #VoltronArt #VoltronLegendaryDefender #KeithKogane #BladeOfMarmora

I'm looking into getting sparkly prints done for future cons, but it's so tricky! ✨ e.g. I would really love to get this Spider-Gwen one with a sparkly, holographic finish on it, but not many printing services seem to offer that kind of finish. (And if they do - it's very £££!)

I've finally returned from my convention! ✨✨ Some quick #Voltron fanart of Keith to get me back into the swing of things. 💪 #VoltronLegendaryDefender

Aerial silks are the best. #SpiderGwen #SpiderVerse #SpiderMan

Today was fun and involved lots of experimenting with different background effects. ✨✨ (I painted both and scanned them, then layered the original drawing on top.) #Spiderman #SpidermanHomecoming

I have a week off so I'm working on a bunch of different things and trying out some new approaches to drawing/painting!

Loch Lomond was really fun today! I won't be selling at Rai Con tomorrow, but my friend @HLMacfarlane will have a few of my fanart prints on their stand. 👌 (Meanwhile, I'll be running around in cosplay.)
