@rosalindanne @wildflower_hour @FieldStudiesC Ahh, easily managed. The species list came to 38 in total! I'll post more in due course, and the whole lot will be on FSC's Seaside Flowers Chart (@FSCPublications have we got a definitive title yet, or a month for publication?) published later this year!
@Taijuey Nope. Not when I did my zoology degree nor my art degree.n No bones. No muscles. No structures. No help. Pieced it together since. Rubbish, isn't it? Itd be monumentally useful both for human and animal andbotanical subjects...
Just finished the last of my botanical illustrations for a new @FieldStudiesC chart
This is Sea #Bindweed. There's a #Scurvygrass, and #wildcarrot here too.
I love finishing a project, it's a good feeling to have it scanned and finished...

Thought I'd post one of my favourites for #FungiFriday -that purple colour! AND you can eat it, it's the Wood Blewit. (Don't, however, eat the v similar and toxic Bruising Webcap. Be careful out there, foraging warriors.)

@FSCPublications @Space4wildlife These beautiful beetles are one of my faves! They're extraordinary and so shiny. Here's one I did for @JerseyStamps a few years back, for their "beetles" issue (copyright https://t.co/lCPYxbb3E6 2016)
New blog out, this is all about completing a series of #botanicalillustrations for a chart on #Non-native UK plant species, published by @FSCPublications

What I love about these projects is that I get to learn about the species I'm illustrating!
@BBC6Music #watercolourchallenge Here you go Shawn, this is a #ladybird in watercolour, and a #sparrow in watercolour, and a #rose in watercolour (it's my job). Keep up the distinctly mediocre work, and please look after yourself, hope you feeli less peaky soon. XLizzie
