I'm finding this to be a nice challenge in changes that are best described as subtle but several. The differences shown here are what I'm calling "my Wednesday".
While I originally had the notion of a stretched canvas in this piece, this morning it also looks like a favorite page from a book that simply can't be written.
There are times when I think of myself as a fool, just for thinking of tinkering with something that seems wonderfully finished. This is such a time.
It never fails with my simpler creations, how so quickly you get to that point where you want to do more, but then you're gut says less.
But then I tell my gut, "less is more" and then I'll continue. haha
It is rare for me to fuse two separate pieces into something very unique from either, but I'm starting to do it more, partly because it's fun plus it seems to come out fine...like this unfinished art.
I should go do some art before I start spewing my much-needed opinions on here - the topic doesn't matter.
I asked my invisible muse if my humor is good enough. She told me I got the "enough" part right.
I often joke about being proud to work at a snail's pace, but that's not quite true. In reality I've become quite frustrated in trying to get my little pets to slow down to my pace...that takes patience.
