Perhaps that snail's a kid at heart after all?

I asked my invisible muse if my humor is good enough. She told me I got the "enough" part right.

I often joke about being proud to work at a snail's pace, but that's not quite true. In reality I've become quite frustrated in trying to get my little pets to slow down to my pace...that takes patience.

Today's art, based on this sketch from a couple of weeks ago.

This has been coming along nicely all day...a smooth one, all in all.

I can't remember how recently I've shown this, and given how much I love it, I'm determined to finish it on Valentine's Day...only needs an hour two for that...and now I need to find other "loveables" for the day.

When it comes to time travel, I do wonder whether my mirror images have copyright protection...is it copy left?

Today I once again am faced with an executive decision...finish one creation or work on something perhaps a little grotesque for now.

I think you will see where I've tossed my hat.

Time to give this unfinished piece a bit of a rest, though changes from here will be more like final touches. The 2nd piece is a recent one that's been dormant for about a week, but no longer.
