So pleased to say this is now finished, or perhaps 'complete' is the better term.
This is a drawing I did yesterday, or rather it's the first digital version of it, which is almost the same. I now call this the start of a work in progress, though I don't think this is far from fully progressed.
Sometimes it's an interesting dilemma with abstract art...choosing the "right" orientation for "official" display.
and now I'm considering the possibility that this is finished...time to listen.
The challenge now is to resist the temptation to complicate matters...it's that simple
It's time to stop playing with this piece, but that's hard, as it's starting to get really interesting...and fun.
One aspect I love about art is there is no need to repeat, and in fact that's really quite necessary.
One of the nice aspects of painting like a snail is that there are no 'racial' issues.
In fairness to the little creatures, no wonder they are a little slow...the starting line must look like a black hole!
Maybe it's time for a short break from this piece, especially since it now has me wondering whether ghosts wear "I shadow".
