Well the closest I've come to cooking today is to manage to curl a few pages...still can't seem to find my usual half-baked recipes.

Aside from a day of rolling some dough and other perogy activities, I'm actually enjoying some early morning art.

And I'm not usually such a morning owl.

This is what I consider to be the starting rendition...a slight modification of a pencil sketch.

"Less slightening" begins now.

One last update, and then I'm moving on to this pencil sketch.

These are 3 recent sketches, one of which will consume this weekend's art time...happily.

Really enjoying the progress in this art, as slow as it is.

It's hard to believe that 31 years ago today I got married...and around this time of that day it occurred to me to get a pair of new shoes to go with the tux...I got them both right on the first pick...the shoes.

After doing this sketch last night, I had to see how it looks flipped...kind of like 6.3 of one and 6 1/3 of the other. https://t.co/1zhKpEbIbg

I did this sketch late last night; I hope it keeps me away from the news over the next few days, mostly because of the looming violence.
