Heracross was technically caught during the Original Series, but I decided to include him, given that he was the first Pokémon Satsohi/Ash caught in Johto.

It's a shame that he didn't get more screen time in Johto, he's a strong Pokémon with a fun personality

@lenguy4 The one from Coola Revenge has more intensity compared to the original shot from the anime [both were drawn by the legendary Masaki Sato]

The one from the Future Trunks Special is pretty similar in that regard. I just wish that they kept the original design for the hair

@gresham_roland I didn't want to include the ones that aren't hand drawn because I would need to include the rest of the games as well, but the version from FighterZ is pretty good!

I also like the versions from Raging Blast and Burst Limit. Kakarot looks pretty underwhelming, tho

@TyroneTG3 @chargerupgaming I couldn't find a render of Shiny Noctowl in Bulbapedia, besides, I think that Noctowl fits better as part of the "middle team" of the Johto region, kinda like Hawlucha in XY, they were both caught around episode 35 of their respective arcs too

@Thomas96Meehan It's a little weird that they replaced Glalie, he was actually really, really good during the Hoenn League.

But I'm glad that Ash evolved his Phanpy into a strong Donphan. They should let some of the older Pokémon evolve too, like they did with Quilava in DP
