#ChangedStars' "Thren" (design based on @IncaseArt's #Puazi) hail from "Mrahd" the largest (& most distant) moon of a gas giant. The Thren homeworld's skyline is rarely dark, & chances to stargaze r never passed up. Their nuanced days & 32 ssns r as complex as their love lives.

1 of the funnest parts of last nite's #ChangedStars session was the "choose ur own Casino activities from the Event's List" segment which gave us all a chance to set the stage & flesh out the characters. It made a 1shot a 2shot but it was worth it. Ever try anything like this?

In #ChangedStars, both Rasts & their natural predator, the Sea Dragon, r sentient meat-eaters. Rasts evolved using their "Skuh-low" (sensitive feeler tendrils) to find shellfish at the deep-dark bases of massive sea-trees, while Sea Drakes waited for them to slip into open water.

The Rast fled their homeworld: they were not the apex predator there. Sentience is not a rare evolutionary trait on their homeworld, & the seas are filled with cunning maws. One such unfriendly face is the "Rastian Sea Dragon," or, as humans put it "Murderous Penguin whales."

I love all the world building #ChangedStars is getting when my friends GM in the setting! Now not only have I drawn & named Thren lions & dogs ("dwath" & "dwand" respectively), but now we see the Impliwat, a delicious Thren Fruit which tastes like spicy pineapple!
