++He wants to experience Seth's love again, but this time when it's MEANT for him, with the ability to be more childish too.. This childishness is so evident in his reactions in the 3rd trial (I reccomend reading back to see some of his reactions, I had a great time doing so 😂)

++This feels like this is him firstly wanting Seth's attention and to talk to him of course, but also in a sense, it's him reclaiming his childhood. He experienced Seth's love as a child (though it wasn't for him,) and I think that now, as an adult when he DOES have power,++

++And in general, I just feel like he gets more "playful" around Seth; he just gets so nosy and again, tries to make small talk even though he knows it can get him seriously hurt (lol) in trial 3. ++

But moving on, I think that Horus is also a lot more child-like around Seth. He emphasises his age, and tries to have small-talk with him almost, which still involves him very subtley talking about his lack of privilege in childhood ("lack of strong foundation".)++

++Yet, when Anubis tries to reject Seth, Horus realises that he doesn't do it by just running away (as he encouraged) but in a way that directly harms Seth, which is what causes him to be so angry. Which is quite selfish in my opinion, as Anubis is ultimately trying to break++

++We see this right from CH 71 again, where he knows exactly what to say to Seth to calm him down and assure him, and also what to say to sway the court about the decision on Seth's punishment, and he even manages to talk sensibly to Ra, who again, he was VERY afraid of.++

++And even then, in these scenes, Horus is being hurt BY seth, and yet, all he can think about is how Seth is in danger. All of this shows that Seth motivates him and also brings out a lot of braveness/selflessness in him, which are very typical "godly" or "heroic" qualities.++

2 56

++Which really, is exactly why he does it. He knows that Anubis is the only thing that Seth would even THINK to bargain for, but still, he does it to try and stop Seth from getting cursed. ++

++We also see this same bravery in the third trial, where Horus holds up the cursed sword to try and get Seth to give up. Not only does this hurt A LOT, it's also an act that he knew could have easily gotten him killed; Horus knows VERY well how Seth loved Anubis.++

spoilers + Horus analysis//

I've spoken quite a bit before about how Seth brings out various qualities in Horus before, but I want to go into more depth today. Firstly, Seth brings out bravery in Horus - it's because of Seth that he was able to overcome his fear of Ra,++
