Since 2019 is now very close to ending (and everyone else is doing it!) I wanted to pick some of my favourite comics from the year.

One of my biggest takeaways: If an idea seems risky or scary, DO IT. I’m always a little nervous to break convention but it almost always pays off.

Before I forget, I wanted to share this awesome commission I got from @betsythebeaver. She pretty much hit the nail on the head with Romy’s personality and I’m completely in love with the pose and expression.

Throwbacks are fun. For reference, this was drawn on November 26th of last year and it was the first time I finalized the designs of the characters I’ve drawn so much since then! It’s just weird thinking how much has changed since, haha. Maybe I’ll do a glowup at some point.
