I noticed a lot of people with dog OCs attach to the breeds of the dogs they had growing up. That is sorta the case with Romy... ish.

I had a yellow lab and a golden retriever as a kid. Romy is a toller, they're a bit similar to goldens. My golden was a huge sweetheart too.

My first fursona was a basset hound, so when I went hybrid goat dog, I wanted to keep that initial inspo. Namely the ears and tail haha.

Reasons for basset hound?

1) They're goofy af
2) They're dramatic af
3) They are potatoes, the ideal lifestyle
