Do they still make mecha in medieval-inspired fantasy worlds. I love the mecha in Escaflowne and Magic Knight Rayearth juxtaposed with swords, dragons, and castles so much & need more

@manga_nostalgic i MUST say chihayafuru of course but it gives me the vibe of 2000s era of shoujo in general like High School Debut, Crimson Hero & a bit of LoveCom 🤔i think it's the eyes + way you draw hair that makes me think of them

posing like it's a fashion magazine cover is my favorite genre of anime promotional art

writing off an ENTIRE COUNTRY'S webcomics/graphic novels/etc and saying they're bad is just. My god.
Here's just a few series that were printed series with paneling, black and white art, etc "similar to manga"

anyway i hope people try some of the newer shoujo coming out or that just finished, but I rarely see talked about like Children of the Whales, Ooku, Kageki Shojo, & Prince Freya. Even if it's just 2 volumes to test it out
