My pick for was the velvet belly lanternshark (Etmopterus spinax). Besides being bioluminescent deep-sea sharks, they have the craziest goose-barnacle parasites (a sketch for another day).

Finally managed to properly see a common treecreeper (Certhia familiaris). Took me 4 years living in the U.K. and just found it by my house 3m away from me 🙄 anyone else noticing any changes in urban wildlife?
