I used to be that comic artist that was angrily committed to my characters opening their mouths EVERY time they talked.

But while doing line art, I discovered that absolutely every character in the first 7 pages of Chapter 5 does this when they speak. I have evolved.

Yes it’s midnight somewhere. Yes I drank iced coffee at 5:00 pm again.

BUT that also means I was overly motivated to capture the song I had on repeat for this midnight sketch of Colin and Lenore.

Anyway, I still made it the cover art for the prom playlist I’m working on.
