for those at home, this is basically the same ending as Morrison's WW3 storyline in JLA. The big difference is, giving everyone superpowers is the solution to a cosmic threat, not some kind of dangerous "anarchy"
the only issue I have with Kyle Baker's King David is that it feels more like storyboards to an animated film. Still, amazing (and hilarious??) stuff in there
The DC Comics adaptation of Robert Silverberg's Nightwings features pencils by Gene Colan that are painted by Neal McPheeters (who usually painted children's books with muppets in them??)
